o Softened lighting (no strobe or sudden flashes). House lights will not go to black before th curtains open, as the result is normally an explosion of loud clapping and cheering. House lights will remain at a low level for the duration of the performance.
o The volume of the music will be somewhat reduced. Pre and Post performance crowd noise is a challenge in the large theater. Noise reducing headsets will be available. However, if any child is noise sensitive, we encourage putting the headset on before entering the theater, so the child can transition more easily.
o "Quiet areas" will be available. The room will be stocked with
o Snacks free of gluten, dairy and wheat.
o Bean bag chairs
o Live stream video of the performance.
o Inclusion specialists from CCDH to assist.
o Pre-show entertainment by Mrs. Clause to keep children engaged while the performance begins
o Fidget toys will be available as needed to help children stay engaged during the performance.
